Tired/Guilty/Irritated/Sleepy I had attended a workshop and I learnt some Techniques on how we can gain time. 3 simple ones which I think all of us can implement (I am doing too) are: 1. Keep a track of how much time you are spending on your phone and which app. 2. Plan your day ahead - don't be in flight or fight mode 3. Find short windows in your day where you can spend some time with yourself "productively" Don't pour from an empty cup! The next two months will be spent with their natural protector i.e. you. We are giving you some tips so that this time proves useful and happy for them. - Eat meals with your children at least twice. Tell them about the importance of farmers and their hard work. And tell them not to waste their food. - Let them wash their own plates after eating. Through such works, children will understand the value of hard work. - Let them help you cook with you. Let them prepare vegetables or salad for them. - Go to three neighbors' houses. Learn more about them and grow closer. - Go to grandparents' house and let them mingle with the children. Their love and emotional support is very important for your children. Very common mistake that ppl do.. 1. Dress kids in cotton clothes. Avoid Nylon or blends 2. Offer frequent breastfeeding or formula feeds and water in small quantities to keep them hydrated in the hot weather. 3. Use hats, umbrellas, and scarfs to protect kids from direct sunlight when outdoors. 4. If your baby is older than six months, apply a baby-safe sunscreen with a high SPF to exposed skin when going outdoors, but keep them mostly shaded. 5. Avoid hot oils like olive oil, ajwain oil, and all for massage for babies & kids. Go for coconut oil. 6. Avoid using talcum powder on babies younger than 6 months as it can be harmful to their lungs. Only apply it sparingly in skin creases, such as near the nappy area and behind the knees, if you notice excessive sweating. 7. Just because you feel hot doesn't mean your baby or kid does, and vice versa. Pay attention to their body cues to gauge whether they're feeling hot or cold. 8. Watch for signs of overheating: Be alert for symptoms like excessive sweating, flushed skin, or irritability, and take steps to cool down your baby if needed. 9. Please don't overdo with sugary drinks and ice creams just cz it is hot. Go for homemade lemonades & juices, coconut water, electral etc. to add flavor to the drinks. 10. A common mistake to avoid: refrain from offering cold beverages right away to kids who have just returned from school or play. Allow them to wash up first and wait for 5 minutes to help maintain their body temperature. The same applies to immediately switching on the AC. Did I miss anything?
